Main research and activity lines:

  • Personalization of the educational experience in relation to the objectives, context, behavior and preferences of the users.  
  • High-level access to knowledge  through natural language queries. 
  • Knowledge Management: Discovery, extraction, representation, management and sharing of implicit and explicit knowledge within a company environment. 
  • Competency management within a company environment: automatic creation of project teams, gap analysis related to educational objectives and the skills to be acquired, evaluation through key performance indicators. 
  • Personal Environment:  Optimal management of activities and processes, as well as the sharing and automatic correlation between them through the utilization of common ontological patterns. 
  • Simulation and collaboration techniques for learning:  game – based learning, serious games, communities.

  • All resources, methodologies and tools helpful to encourage access and sharing of information assets.

  • Applications in the field of e-learning and creation of Personal Working Learning Environment (PWLE).
